[ Speaking of ego boosts, there is something positively reaffirming about Molly praising him for understanding what his reasoning is behind using his own cards. It probably doesn't help that he has already drank a fair amount of wine, too, so he is not even trying to hide the grin in response. ]

Sounds like how I am with tinkering. There is something strangely calming to it. Though sometimes I get a bit carried away and lose track of time.

[ At the mention of bringing back wine to Percy's place, he raises an eyebrow, intrigued. Now there's an idea. ]

Were he on the road and expecting trouble, he would have kept it loaded, but with ammunition being in such short supply, he does not need to take the chance that it would accidentally go off.

And with Molly handling it, he does not want to worry about the tiefling accidentally pulling the trigger, since he has clearly never handled a gun before. Not that many people in their world have. ]

I've grown up with swords. Have a couple of my own. I don't know what it is about this weapon that intrigues me so much. It came at a terrible price, though.
